For patients whose health or mobility makes getting to Mount Road difficult, we bring podiatry to you. The same careful treatment, the same sterile instruments, in the comfort of your own chair.
Who it’s for
When getting out is the hard part
Home visits are for people who are housebound, recovering from illness or an operation, living with a condition that makes travelling difficult, or simply unable to get to the clinic safely. Family members and carers are welcome to arrange a visit on someone’s behalf, and to stay during the appointment.

What we can do on a home visit
Some treatments, such as nail surgery, need the clinic. We’ll always tell you if that’s the case.
- Nail care Toenails cut and thickened nails reduced.
- Hard skin and corns Removed painlessly with sterile instruments.
- Foot checks Skin, circulation and feeling, especially important with diabetes.
- Advice For you and for anyone who helps care for you.
On the day
All we need is a comfortable chair
We bring everything else. A chair with good light nearby, and somewhere to rest the foot, is ideal. Please have a list of your current medicines ready for the first visit, and tell us about anything that would help, such as a key safe, parking or a pet that likes to say hello.
